Privacy policy
Last updated 26 September 2026
The short version: we collect very little. There are no accounts, no forms, no analytics and no advertising trackers on this site.
1. Who is responsible for your data
This policy covers the website plainbonusguide.co.uk ("Plain Bonus Guide", "we", "us"). We handle personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Questions or requests: [email protected].
2. What we collect and why
Server logs
Like almost every website, our web server automatically records basic technical details of each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page asked for, your browser's user-agent string and the referring page. We use these only to keep the site running and secure, for example to spot and block abusive traffic. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (running a secure website).
Emails you send us
If you email us, we'll have your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use it to reply and, where relevant, to correct the site. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (answering you), or legal obligation where you're exercising a data protection right.
What we don't collect
We don't run analytics, advertising pixels, heatmaps, or session recording. We don't have user accounts or sign-up forms, and we don't buy or sell personal data. The wagering calculator runs entirely in your browser; nothing you type into it is sent to us.
3. Third parties
Web fonts
Our text is displayed in a typeface served by Google Fonts. To deliver it, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details. Google says this service does not set cookies. Google may process this data outside the UK; see Google's privacy policy.
Links to casinos
When you click an offer link, you leave our site and go through an affiliate tracking link to the operator. The tracking provider and the casino may set their own cookies and collect data under their own privacy policies, so please read those. We receive reports showing sign-ups and activity linked to our site, which don't identify you by name.
Hosting
The site is hosted on servers operated by a hosting provider, which processes server logs on our behalf.
4. How long we keep it
Server logs are kept for no longer than 30 days unless we need them to investigate a specific security issue. Emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your message, and deleted within 12 months after that unless they relate to an ongoing matter.
5. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct it if it's wrong;
- delete it;
- restrict or stop using it, including objecting to processing based on legitimate interests;
- send it to you or another organisation in a portable format, where that applies.
Email us to make a request. We'll respond within one month. If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
This site is not meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly process children's data.
6. Changes to this policy
If we add anything that collects more data, such as analytics, we'll update this page first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before it runs. The date at the top shows the latest version.
